Take away the gloss and the ideal Christmas card image and you might be left with something like this; the birth of Jesus in a cold, damp stable as  God lowered himself into this unglamourous setting to show that He loves us and is always with us.  You could do this one with a cast of up to 9 actors and could be performed by teenagers and adults alike.
